Dedication of the Stained Glass Window in the St. John the Evangelist Chapel at the Cathedral

On February 21st, 2016 over 100 people gathered in joyful celebration for the dedication of the new stained glass window in the Chapel of St. John the Evangelist at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul. Bishop Alan M. Gates presided over the evening service and blessed the new stained glass window, which will be a beacon of light welcoming all to worship. The brilliant colors and symbolism of the window speak in a special way to all who see it.  A very important part of the window is the symbolism that reflects the coming together of the St. John community on Bowdoin Street and the Cathedral.  The Cathedral Church of St. Paul expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Andrew Young and his artists at Pearl River Glass Studio in Jackson, MS for their magnificent work on the stained glass window which will inspire for years to come.
